Unit information
- All unit sizes are approximate.
- Unit features vary by floor.
- All specials displayed or otherwise advertised are based upon unit availability and unit size.
Hours of operation – “office hours” and “access hours”
Our office is opened from 8:00AM till 5:00PM Monday through Friday; 9:00AM till 3:00PM Saturday. The office is closed Sunday. “Extended Access” hours allow entry 24 hours a day seven (7) days a week.
- The office hours are the hours the Manager is available to assist you with renting a unit, available to address your storage needs or sell moving and packing supplies.
- Once you have been assigned your access code you will have direct access to your unit during business hours.
- The “access hours” are the hours that you can access your unit when the office is closed if you have signed up for “Extended Access” hours.
- We will need a driver’s license with your picture as well as a second method of identification and a credit card in order to provide “Extended Access” service.
Reservation process
A paid reservation will guarantee your unit details, including the size, rate and potential savings.
- A hold reservation will not guarantee the unit details but is based on a space available basis only.
- A $20.00 refundable reservation deposit is required to make a reservation. The $20.00 refundable deposit is based on the rental start date. The rental start date can be for up to 30 days from when the reservation in made. If the rental agreement is finalized by this date then the $20.00 is applied to their first months' rent. If the reservation is cancelled prior to this date the deposit is refundable in full. If the rental agreement is not finalized by the start date then the deposit is not refundable.
Payments and due dates
- Your first month’s rent will be the ‘prorated amount’ from the day you rent plus the following full month’s rental amount. The ‘prorated amount’ is figured from the day you rent the unit to the end of the month. The ‘prorated amount’ plus the following full month’s rent will be due when you rent your unit. For example if you rent the unit on the 20th of the month we will charge you for 10 days rent plus the following full month. After the initial rental period a single month’s rent is due on the first of each month.
- Payments can be processed by mail, in person or through our website. You may also arrange to have your payment automatically deducted from your MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, or American Express® credit card or directly from your bank account. We also accept debit cards as well as checks.
- Billing is sent out for next month’s rent on the 20th and your rent is due on the 1st day of each month. Your payment must clear your bank or Credit Card Company within five (5) days after the last day of the month.
- Your payment must be received by the 5th of the month. Payments received after the 5th are considered late. A late payment fee of $15.00 will be added to your bill and must be paid to maintain access to your unit. If your payment has not been received by the 6th of the month an e-mail reminder will be sent.
- Rent is not prorated or refunded when you move out. Tenants must vacate the storage unit no later than the end of the month in order to avoid being charged for the next month.
- On line payment can be made through our website. Late payment fees can be avoided by logging into your account and making a payment. We encourage you to sign up for our automatic monthly billing so you will not be penalized if you forget your payment. You can go to your account on line and sign up for automatic payments or call the office to sign up or drop by the office and see our manager.
Rental periods and discounts for longer rental periods
Our leases run from month-to-month meaning your commitment is for only 30 days. We also offer longer term leases and offer prepayment discounts for longer term storage. So if you know the amount of time you will be storing you can save through a long-term lease and prepaying your rent.
- We provide 1/2 month free rental with a prepaid 6 month rental.
- We provide 1 month free rental with a prepaid 12 month rental.
- Our discounts are in addition to any incentive discounts we may offer from time to time.
Vacating (move out) notice requirement
We require a seven (7) day written notice to move out. This is for your protection. The notice gives us time to contact you by phone and confirm your moving plans. If you have not provided notice we request that you come by the office and let us know your moving plans prior to the move. If that is not possible please accompany your movers or family members on the day of the move so we may confirm your plans. Our rental agreement is with you and we will only recognize changes authorized by you.
Updating of personal information
- If you need to make address or telephone changes we require that you submit the changes either by mail or e-mail to us. We will confirm the changes by mail as well as e-mail. In addition we will call you to confirm that you have requested the changes prior to them being made. This is to protect you from any unauthorized change.
- Once you have rented a unit you can go to our website and sign in using your ‘User ID’ and assigned ‘Password”. Your account site will provide you with your personal contact information as well as access to your billing and payment history. Please verify that the information is correct.
- We understand that there are times when you are between addresses or have a temporary address or you are changing your telephone number. Let us know and we will make every effort to quickly update your account information while protecting your privacy. Please remember though – it is your responsibility to provide current address and telephone information – and even if you bill is sent to your old address you are still expected to send your rent in on time.
Payment options
We encourage our customers to sign up for automatic monthly payments through your credit card or checking account. This protects you from any late payment fees you may accumulate if you forget to make your payment on time or are out of town. You can elect to sign up for this service when you rent your unit. You can cancel this service at any time by calling or going on line and modifying your account information
- We accept the most popular credit cards: MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®, Discover®, Diners Club® and JCB®.
- In addition to these credit cards, we accept many ATM and debit cards.
- You can also sign up for automatic monthly payments through automatic withdrawal from your bank account through eCheck.
- You may also pay by personal check.
Remember – you may go to our website at any time and click on “my account” and log in to your personal information and make a payment with your credit card.
